Sound Generations Senior Driving Companion Program

The Driving Companion Program (DCP) is a new pilot focused on providing transportation to older adults living in Seattle. Clients must live in Seattle, but can travel throughout King County if the volunteer driver is willing. A client recruits volunteers in their community to help them travel to events, appointments, shopping and more. The clients and volunteers are responsible for scheduling; this allows more flexibility for times and trip types. This is a 1 year pilot lasting from June 2018 - June 2019.
